Getting Started

I offer mainly in-person sessions, and I find it most beneficial to have an intake session to get started with counseling. This way, we get introduced to each other and our fit in the therapy setting. Plus you get to experience the commute, parking, etc. prior to the commencement of a therapeutic relationship.

In that first meeting, we’ll talk about what’s on your mind, your expectations of therapy, confidentiality, office policies, treatment, scheduling, privacy risks of online communications, and any questions or concerns you may have.
